The Republican Specialized Children and Youth Cycling School of Olympic Reserve (ROEQİUGVM) is one of the schools that has contributed to the development of cycling in Azerbaijan. The school was established in 1984 and operates on the basis of the Republican Velodrome.

Currently operating under the “Education” Republican Sports Center, Specialized Olympic Reserve Children and Youth Sports School No. 7 (7İOEUGİM) was established in 1969. Athletes practicing cycling at the school train at the 7İOEUGİM-owned velodrome in the Əhmədli settlement, the Republican Velodrome, and on road courses.
