The event was jointly organized by the Agdash District Executive Authority and the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation (AzCF) on the occasion of March 5 – Physical Education and Sports Day. Nearly 60 boys and girls competed in the race across three age categories.
The distinguished athletes were awarded medals, diplomas, and valuable prizes by the Aghdash District Executive Authority and the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation.
The main goal of organizing the race was to promote the development and mass participation of cycling in the regions. To achieve this goal, within the framework of joint cooperation between the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation, the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Association of Sports Organizations of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, cycling sections have been established in 15 regions of the country over the past few months.
