Azerbaijan's men's Elite/U23 national road cycling team has taken part in the UCI category 1.2 international race "Grand Prix Antalya" held in Antalya, Türkiye.
The national team has been represented by Musa Mikayilzade, Nofal Nuriyev, Ali Gurbanov, Shahin Eyvazov, Maxim Trendelyov, Tural Israfilov, and Suleyman Alakbarov.
The riders covered a challenging 130.4 km distance. The strongest performance came from Musa Mikayilzade, who finished in the lead group and took the 11th place according to the photo finish.
Among the other Azerbaijani riders, Ali Gurbanov placed 25th, Tural Israfilov 33rd, Nofal Nuriyev 34th, Suleyman Alakbarov 39th, Shahin Eyvazov 41st, and Maxim Trendelyov 42nd out of the 70 participants in the race.
