On April 24, 2026, a cycling tournament among school students of the Khatai district was held at the Republican Velodrome within the framework of the "Baku 2026 – World Sports Capital" project. The event was organized by the Baku City Youth and Sports Department, the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation, and the Republican Olympic Cycling School.
At the end of the competition, which was marked by an exciting sporting contest, the team of the Heydar Aliyev Lyceum won the first place, the team of Secondary School No. 29 took the second place, and the team of School No. 17 secured the third place.
At the conclusion of the tournament, the winning teams were awarded diplomas and medals by the Baku City Youth and Sports Department.
