On the second competition day of the national road cycling championship, the winners of the individual time trial were determined among amateur women and men, as well as under-17 boys.
In the amateur women's 15 km race, Natalia Vallek outperformed all her competitors to become the champion. Liliya Smirnova secured the silver medal, while Jamila Irafiyeva took the bronze.
Among amateur men in the 50 and older category, Fizuli Ismayilov took first place in the 15 km race. Yusif Najafov finished second, and Etibar Hasanov came in third.
In the 35–49 age category competition, Tural Mirzazade climbed to the highest step of the podium in the 15 km race. Royal Mustafayev finished the race in second place, while Javid Javanshirov secured the third spot.
Orkhan Jalil, a participant competing in the amateur cyclist race who was also celebrating his birthday, was presented with a commemorative gift by the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation.
In the under-17 boys' competition (2010-2011), Raul Mahmudov, representing "AE Cycling School," captured the gold medal by covering the 15 km distance in 21 minutes and 30 seconds. Emil Vakhrameev, an athlete from the Specialized Republican Olympic Reserve Children and Youth Cycling School, finished second with a time of 21 minutes and 37 seconds, while Ilkin Sadigzade, a member of the Republican Sports Center "Tahsil" Specialized Olympic Reserve Children and Youth Sports School No. 7, came in third with a time of 22 minutes and 13 seconds.
On June 29–30, the winners of the road races (group races) at the national championship will be determined.
