The European Track Cycling Championships for Juniors/U23 categories will be held from July 7 to 12 in Cottbus, Germany. Seven of our cyclists will compete at the 6-day event under the leadership of head coach Vladimir Bushanskiy and coach Elchin Gasimov.
The most notable highlight is that our country will be represented at the junior women's continental championship for the first time — Nazrin Isbandiyarova is included in the squad heading to the European Championship.
As for our other athletes, Tural Israfilov and Maksim Trendelyov will compete in the U23 category, while Chingiz Isayev, Nihad Khudoyev, Rahim Naghiyev, and Murad Nadirov will fight for medals among the junior men.
