Stage 4 of the "Baku-Khankendi" Azerbaijan Cycling Race, a 2.1 category event of the International Cycling Union (UCI), has concluded. On this race day, starting from the city of Ganja and moving along the Goygol – Goranboy – Aghdara (Sugovushan and Talish villages) – Naftalan route, the cyclists covered a distance of 152.8 km.
The winner of the 4th race day was Marco Manenti, a cyclist from the Italian "Bardiani CSF 7 Saber" pro-continental team – he outperformed everyone in the group finish with a time of 3 hours, 11 minutes, 46 seconds. Henok Mulubrhan, a member of Kazakhstan’s "XDS Astana" World Team, came in 2nd, while David Christian Pita, representing Thailand’s "Roojai Insurance Winspace" continental team, showed the 3rd result. It is worth recalling that Pita also crossed the finish line 3rd at the 3rd stage.
After 4 stages, "XDS Astana" member Yevgeniy Fedorov retains the lead in the general classification and the blue jersey presented by "Silkway West Airlines." The green jersey, intended for the best sprinter and presented by "Sea Breeze," was captured by winner of Stage 4 Marco Manenti.
Lennert Teugels, a cyclist from Belgium’s “Tarteletto-Isorex” continental club, retained the red mountain leader’s jersey presented by Azerbaijan Airlines, while Iker Gómez of Spain’s “Equipo Kern Pharma” pro-continental team kept the white jersey for the best young rider, presented by “Azvirt.”

The awards were presented to the distinguished cyclists by Arzu Mammadov, the Acting Head of the Naftalan City Executive Power, Sahib Alakbarov, the First Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the "Baku-Khankendi" Azerbaijan Cycling Race, and Fikrat Huseynov, the Executive Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation.
