"Our roads are exceptionally beautiful," said Sahib Alakbarov, the First Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the "Baku-Khankendi" Azerbaijan Cycling Race, during the press conference held in Mingachevir following Stage 3.
"Our roads are exceptionally beautiful. Everything from Gabala to this point is so good that even the foreign guests express their surprise during our conversations that such roads exist in Azerbaijan. Fortunately, the weather is also excellent. All of this creates favorable conditions for holding the competition at a high level. Every stage of the race is taking place under conditions of intense competition," Sahib Alakbarov stated.
