“The race was quite interesting at this stage as well,” said Yevgeniy Fedorov, a member of Kazakhstan’s “XTS Astana” World Team, who has become the winner of Stage 2 of the “Baku-Khankendi” Azerbaijan Cycling Race.
The cyclist, who covered a distance of 193.3 kilometres from “Sea Breeze” to Ismayilli faster than others, expressed satisfaction with the results: “I express my gratitude to all the organizers.
The main goal of our team was to take the first place. The hardest part at this stage was going uphill. My objective at the next stages is to preserve the leader jersey.”
